He is the Founder and Chief Executive of PACT Matters, LLC, an Ophthalmic Medical consulting firm specializing in service-specific continuous improvement, six sigma coaching, team dynamics, managing change, education and development.

After graduating from the Academy of Health Sciences, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, he continued his quest for academic excellence while educating others. He accredits his professional development to the many military Ophthalmologists and their willingness to educate technicians.

During his 23 years of military service and several duty stations and deployments, Matthew founded the Society of Military-Technical Personnel in Ophthalmology, an association of active duty and veteran ophthalmic technicians. Matthew admits that caring for military service members and veterans is truly an honor and privilege.

Matthew’s academic studies include Research and Development, Music Composition, Occupational Education, Human Resource Management, Healthcare Administration, Forensic Sciences, Project Management, and Ophthalmic Technology. Matthew has introduced to Lean Six Sigma in 2013 and took on another academic challenge in Lean Six Sigma Healthcare. This is where he pulled every experience together to help build the Ophthalmic Community in a way it has never experienced.
